I do love researching places to visit one day and now that no one is travelling, what better way to escape than to dream through online spaces. Holidays in Dubai look incredible, luxurious and not always the first place you think of when travelling with children. However, I have found some great things to do in Dubai with children.

You can also play volleyball with sessions for children, beginners to advanced. You can go kite surfing which looks incredible, although I don’t think I would stay on the board for long! If you don’t fancy kite surfing, you could try jet skiing instead.

Last but definitely not least, there is the Splash N Party waterpark. The park is designed to cater to the entire family. Whilst the little ones have a blast on their splash pads and water slides, the parents can sit back and relax.

Children of all ages love spending time in Barney‘s yard where they can enjoy making music on their piano, see some fishes in the koi pond and jump around their themed playground. Just picture all the things that can be done while using your imagination and the super-dee-duper adventures to be shared when watching a new story come to life during their puppet shows.

Parents and little Engineers enjoy a unique connection on every journey, whether exploring the Island of Sodor through their themed play structure or enjoying magical movies in their Thomas & Friends 4D cinema. Aquarium and underwater zoo

Dubai Aquarium has thousands of aquatic animals, representing several hundred marine species within our impressive 10 million litre tank.

The Underwater Zoo takes visitors through various aquatic environments including the rainforest, touch pools and UAE Night creatures. Also featured is their behind the scenes guided tour where you can learn about their care and conservation programs, how they feed the fish and have the chance to feed their lively school of giant trevally yourself!

Visit the desert

Whether it’s sandboarding, camel riding, or going on a desert safari, this is one adventure the kids will love. Book a dining experience with one of the many tour operators and enjoy tasty dishes and a wide range of entertainment from archery to quad biking. If you want your desert excursion to last all night, camp beneath the stars for a truly memorable experience.

VR Park

The VR Park combines augmented and virtual reality to stunning effect. Try the fantastic Burj Drop experience, where you’ll propel down the side of the record-breaking Burj Khalifa. If that’s too tame for teens, try and survive a zombie attack at The Walking Dead Outbreak VR game, or navigate a spaceship to safety. Younger children and families also have plenty to enjoy.

Air Maniax

Energetic tots will fall in love with Air Maniax, a huge indoor inflatable adventure park. With over 15 activities that the whole family can get involved in, you’ll never be bored. The park features a dedicated inflatable arena, a ‘Warrior Assault’ obstacle course, zip line and even laser tag. Toddlers have their own dedicated play zone. Serious about fun and games? The park uses high-tech wristbands so scores are recorded automatically, and pictures and videos can be instantly uploaded to social media for bragging rights.
