We are very excitedly getting ready for our first family holiday abroad. Lucas will be just under 11 months when we go to Fuerteventura and I really want it to be as stress free as it possibly can be with a baby. I have put together a list so I don’t forget anything. Have I missed anything out?x

Ooh exciting times! The only thing I’d take that isn’t on your list is a baby carrier but I don’t use a pram so I’m not sure if you’d need both. Have a fantastic time! Happy new year.x

Good grief having to pack that lot would put me off wanting to go on holiday. Love the idea of back ups in your e-mail account.
Enjoy your holiday

Agree a baby carrier is essential. Perfect for carrying baby around a city or beach trip (even if you’re walking from the car and need your hands free!). Also I always take a photo of the immunisations page in my little ones red health book. Not that we’ve ever needed it but good to have. You can always email yourself a photo of it. If baby is bottle fed or uses a sippy cup I also bring my own baby bottle brush. A little box of zip deal plastic good bags also comes in early handy for all kinds of things! We’ve just travelled to Melbourne via Singapore with a toddler and 7 month old!

Holidays with a baby require stealth packing and everything bar the kitchen sink but I am sure you will have an amazing time xx

And this is why I’m avoiding holidays until the girls are older! What a list! Brilliant help for people travelling with children though.

Wow! I thought the list of things I packed for myself was huge, but I would never have even thought of half of these for a baby, I just about remember the hubby x

This is going to be my go to list! You’ve covered it all. You have to prepare for everything don’t you!

This is definitely a print out and keep post! I love that the Lucas has a much longer list than you guys 🙂 #justanotherlinky

Sounds like you have everything. I absolutely hate having to pack to go away with little ones (& then sort it all out when get back). I always hated the packing & stress of going anywhere, but much worse trying to have everything you need for little ones without ending up with a ridiculous amount. On the plus side, it has meant my overpacking for me is finally under control – no time or space for 6 pairs of my shoes! Hope the holiday is good. #justanotherlinky

A great list! We took our son away for the first time last year when he was just two. I was really nervous about how he would be on the plane and stuff but he ended up sleeping both ways which was pretty awesome 😀
Have a great time x #justanotherlinky

Great list! I always over pack when it comes to my baby. I never feel the stuff I put are enough. It’s good to start cutting the packing to a minimum, because there is no need of so many items.

Very comprehensive list! I love lists. I always take ziplock bags too. I find they come in really handy whether it is for food/snacks, toiletries (leaky bottles) or the kids needed them (collect shells on the beach, bagging up lego etc.

One thing that could be included is the European Health Card. When I went abroad I checked out someone’s fantastic Youtube video on it and was so pleased I did. #familytraveltips
