A while a go I wrote a checklist for travelling with a baby and last month we went camping at Geronimo festival. We forgot to take towels so didn’t shower all weekend! We forgot the raincover for the pram and we didn’t know how to use the cooker we took. We had a great weekend regardless but thought I would write a list for next time.

  2. This would be awesome for my Daughter who is camping this very moment, she sent me a photo earlier of our Son-in-Law wearing his gardening shoes, turns out in his hurry to pack the car and get going, he put his garden shoes on to put the bins out and then got straight in the car still wearing his garden shoes and only discovered this after they had got to their camp site……..he has no other shoes and they are not near any shops!

  16. We recently went camping for the first time and have definitely learnt what to do and what not to do – we’ll definitely be taking a power pack next time and going for an electric hook up – our tent collapsed at 5:30am in 40mph wind so we had to take a 30 minute drive to the nearest camp shop and buy a new tent – but despite this, we had a blast and my children thought it was amazing – we are looking forward to our next trip away x
