Nordgreen started in 2017 when partners Pascar Sivam and Vasilij Brandt began building a brand that is actionable toward sustainable practices while creating an aesthetically pleasing, and functional collection of designer timepieces. Nordgreen envisioned its collection with award-winning Chief Designer Jakob Wagner, who earned his acclaim by designing for Bang & Olufsen, Hay, B&B Italia, and Cappellini.
Nordgreen have some stunning watches for both men and women. A lot of the watches allow you to change the straps too to vary your look to the occasion at the time. The straps are available in a wide variety of colours, in real Italian leather, vegan leather, high-grade nylon, and stainless steel mesh straps depending on your preference.
All their designs adhere to the Danish life philosophy of hygge – living life with happiness, contentment, and balance.
The watch that I took a particular shine to is the Philosopher with a white and silver face, finished off perfectly with a dove grey vegan leather strap. The Philosopher has a two-piece dial and asymmetric second hand which combine to create a truly unique design.
Nordgreen offer free worldwide shipping and returns, you can pay in instalments and the watches come with a 2 year warranty.
Not only are Nordgreen creating beautiful watches that customers love, they are also giving back to others with several initiatives and are aiming to become a carbon neutral company. They are planting trees in the Latin American rainforests to offset their emissions. They are transitioning their packaging to become 100% recyclable.
They also have their own Giving Back Program were part of the cost of the watch you purchase is given to one of three charities and you get to choose which one, once you have bought it.
