As I’ve recently become an Usborne books organiser, I got a few books that would encourage Lucas to ask to do something other than play on his tablet or Xbox. He loves playing with Lego and outside, he also loves crafty time but when we are trying to get work done and want him to spend some time doing something that he doesn’t need us for, I thought some activity books would come in handy for an alternative boredom buster.
Thankfully I was right and this week, he has been enjoying doing his stamping book. The Poppy and Sam book comes with a brightly coloured inkpad of seven colours. Lucas has been decorating the scenes with hens, sunflowers, goats, pumpkins and much more, choosing which colours he thinks they should be and also attempting to mix his own colours by dabbing the stamp on more than one pad!
