Last week Lucas and I met up with a friend I used to work with and her 2 children. We went for a walk and play at Brockholes nature reserve. We also had an early lunch im their floating cafe. As you can see Lucas’ waterproofs are still drowning him but it doesn’t stop him from exploring x

I love Brockholes! Funnily enough though, I haven’t been since my eldest was born just over 2 years ago. Must take him there. He’d love it!

Oh bless him, he does have a bit of growing still to do doesn’t he!! It looks like a lot of fun though, and the advantage of giant waterproofs is you don’t get a wet bottom when you sit down!

I agree with Carie – the best thing is that there’s no wet bottom when sitting! He looks like he has some serious exploring to do with his friend! #TheOrdinaryMoments

This looks great! They do love a good wood or field to explore don’t they? #LivingArrows
