I haven’t posted an outfit post since before Christmas. It isn’t that we don’t dress Lucas or buy him new clothes, I just find I am increasingly losing time. Seriously, where does it go?! The other problem I have is that I forget to take a photo and before I think about it we have already had dinner and his outfit is far from photogenic at that point.
Lucas wore a gorgeous navy shirt on Christmas Day with a maroon pocket piece and some maroon trousers, he looked very handsome. He also had some lovely new boots on. I fully intended on doing an outfit post on that and now it’s already March!
Lucas turned 2 a couple of weeks ago and just before that D bought him loads of new clothes, then he got more off family for his birthday so hopefully, I will try and get at least a couple shown over the next few weeks. I’m not aiming for linking up weekly again as I know I won’t get a chance.
This outfit is from one of my Aunties. The blue and white buffalo check shirt, £7, is pure cotton in a smart-casual design with a jersey hood. She bought him some tan trousers as well but they were too big so I went to change the size and they didn’t have Lucas in so I got him tan trousers with braces, £8. They are jersey-lined making them nice and soft on him with an elasticated waistband. The braces can be adjusted and detached. We have taken them off so he can wear them as casual trousers. Lucas is wearing size 18-24 months in his tops and 12-18 months in his bottoms, although some of his 9-12 month jeans still fit!
I bought him these boots in Clarks a few weeks ago and they go perfectly with this outfit. They were £10 in the sale. He is wearing a size 5.
