I was recently asked if I would like to review a power pack which can be personalised. I didn’t have to think about it, as being the owner of an iPhone, I know how much I need power packs to keep my phone going. I can’t get through the day with my phone without it needing charging. I use it for my work as a virtual assistant as well as my blog work. Then there is using it as a camera and Lucas using it for his games.
I had a look at the selection from USB makers and they have an abundance to choose from. I wanted something small that could fit in my coat pocket or something that wouldn’t be too big if Lucas is holding it with the phone. I opted for the Oakland Power Pack.
The Oakland Power Bank is a unique wooden style charging unit. You can choose between having your logo either laser engraved or full colour printed onto the wood. It is available in both a dark or light coloured wood. If you have a business, it’s great to give staff for charging their phones when out and about, not only are they staying connected but your brand logo is being shown too. You could even give them to prospective clients so they don’t forget you, business cards can be lost, cups put to the back of the cupboard, this is something that will be used. The Oakland power bank ranges from 1,800 mAh – 3,000 mAh dependant on your needs and the devices that will require a power boost. The power bank comes with a standard Samsung charger cable or they can provide a 3-way multi cable if required. The power banks come in either a card display box or an optional drawstring bag so there are plenty of options for your order to be completely customised to your needs.
I had it engraved with my blog address on one side and my logo on the other side. The team where great when discussing options over email and sent me mock ups before going ahead with the printing. They were more than happy to try out various colours for the text and were really accommodating. I love the look of the power pack, it’s nice not having it a bit more natural looking rather than silver or black. The printing on it is excellent quality and I would definitely recommend.
I received 10 power packs with the capacity of 2600mAh. I charged the power pack up fully and it lasted for 1 and a half full charges of my iPhone which I’m really happy with. It’s not one to be taking on a weekend camping trip but it’s perfect for in my pocket on a day out.
