There seems to be a mail subscription service for everything nowadays but I didn’t realise socks were included in it until I came across Henry J Socks.
Henry J Socks is a subscription targeted at men to get one, two or three pairs of socks a month, starting at £4.99 a month for one pair. The subscription is available in 3, 6 and 12 months.
They also offer a missing sock service where you can buy a single sock to reunite it with the one you have at home when the other one has somehow disappeared in the washing. The single socks sell at £3.75. You can also purchase single pairs of socks of your choosing for £7.50. They come in two sizes, average 6-10 and large 11-16.
The prices in my opinion are a little high for socks, I wouldn’t pay £5 for a pair of socks especially every month but I do like the idea of it as a gift for someone who I’m struggling to think of any ideas. It’s something a bit different and socks are always going to be used.
They are packaged well in tissue paper and the box fits through the letter box so there is no need to be at home. I love the various patterns and colours but I do think it would be better if you could specify in the subscription whether you wanted to avoid patterned or plain. D found them very comfortable and they washed well.
