Have your little ones been watching 44 Cats? It’s a children’s programme on Nick Jnr which has just been released onto Freeview’s channel POP
The series follows the adventures of four kittens who make up a musical group called the Buffycats.
Each episode has an underlying message of friendship, diversity, and helping others.
We’ve only been introduced to it recently as we don’t have sky children’s channels. We first watched an episode where 3 of the cats wanted to help their friend achieve his dream of going into space to explore the moon and Mars. The cats decorated a bin (like the silver trash cans you see in America) into being a space ship. The cat whose dream it was went into the ‘space ship’ and it set off into Space! The friends had made a couple of areas into the Moon and Mars and hid when they had transported the space ship there whilst their friend explored. It was a lovely episode and showed how they worked together to help their friend achieve his goal. Lucas really enjoyed watching it and it was nice to have a cartoon with such good morals for children to see.
Have a peek at the episode here and don’t forget that you can now watch on Freeview x
My daughter LOVES cats but is probably too old for this now, which is a massive shame as it would have been right up her street!
I’ve not seen it, but it does look super cute and I know my niece would really love it.
This looks like the sort of thing I would enjoy as an almost 30 year old. I love cats!
