Waaayyy too long ago I said I was going to make a memory bear out of Lucas’ old clothes. I finally finished it a while back with a lot of assistance from my Grandma.
We used a template I found from McCall’s sewing patterns.
It isn’t perfect and I can see why people on Facebook are charging £60 for making memory teddies now but it is made by my Grandma and I with Lucas’ clothes so I’m very happy with the result x
That is gorgeous well done to you and your grandma. X
What a lovely keepsake, you have made a great job of that, not sure mine would end up looking like that xx
It’s such a lovely idea and he looks so cute too.
Aw what a really lovely keepsake this is and it is cute too x
This is awesome. I’m having a memory bear made for me with some of my daughter’s clothing it’s a fab idea. Angela
The bear is really cute. I wish I could make something like this or had a talented Grandma to help me.
This looks wonderful, I wish I could make something like this – I have kept all of Boo’s clothes and I think this is perfect!
An incredibly cute idea and the end result is just gorgeous.
I’m so impressed with this, having not a single crafty bone in my body! That’s so special that not only is it made with some special clothes, but it’s also made by Mum and Great Grandma, all the money in the world couldn’t buy that. Well done!
Oh you are so clever! I really want one for Pickle but could never make my own. Well Done! Kaz x
Oh I love these bears, they are such a good idea. Well done to you and your Grandma, such a lovely thing for Lucas to keep for ever xx
What a wonderful keepsake! You did a terrific job there! Love it!
Ooohh you CLEVER thing!! What a lovely little bear — and so precious too! I have kept some of the boys’ tiny clothes for a memory bear too but was going to send them away to be made!! It didn’t even cross my mind to make them myself!! Well done you — it looks awesome! Thanks for sharing #HomeEtc
