BidVine Review

August 30, 2016 by Jenni

BidVine review* of photography services in Manchester. If, like me you haven’t heard of BidVine before, this is how they describe themselves…

‘Bidvine is the easiest way to find and hire local professionals to help accomplish your projects. Learn something new, redecorate your home, feel better, feel fitter, throw a great party – and more.’

Bidvine review

The website seriously couldn’t be any easier to use. Once on their homepage, it is very clearly marked for you to start typing in what type of service you would like and your postcode. I typed in photography and the various options came up for me to choose what type I was looking for. I chose baby photography and popped in my postcode.

Bidvine review

A form was then produced asking for more details of what I needed, how old the baby was, where I wanted the photos to be taken, if I had a theme in mind, if I wanted props, how I wanted the images, what my budget was etc. I have taken Lucas to photographers in the past so I know how expensive it can be. For this reason, I chose the £100-£150 budget to see whether it would deliver any results.

Bidvine review

Once I sent the form off, I received an email saying that there are limited photographers in my area that fit what I was looking for but they would try and find one for me. I was happy to receive this email, it was what I had expected and I appreciated getting an email not only keeping me informed that they were searching but a truthful one.

Bidvine review

I requested a quote in the afternoon and that evening I received two quotes from people telling me their prices and what it included as well as any offers they currently had and a link to their website. One was for £150 and one was for £65.

I am really impressed with BidVine and would definitely recommend it, I will be using it when I am searching in the future x

A very useful service that you can compare photographers. Wonder if they cover South Wales?

I have been a member for several months but don’t seem to get any work after quoting for jobs. Has anyone had any success with the service?
