Vertbaudet Lucas wearing a green marl hoody

Lucas was recently sent* some items from Vertbaudet and I have to say that I love the quality of them!

The first item he chose was a coat because he loves the colour red so as soon as he saw a red coat (it’s more of a burnt orange colour), he was delighted. He got a 4 in 1 parka which he looks so smart in and it keeps him warm and toasty as a full coat with the inner gilet in. You can also remove the gilet to wear as a lighter weight coat for when the weather gets a bit warmer and use the gilet alone without the coat. I’m really impressed that the gilet is reversible too meaning you can get 2 different looks with it. The hood comes with a removable faux fur trim which isn’t shown in the photos as Lucas wanted to take it off. Lucas chose red but it is also available in a gorgeous green colour, black and grey.

I love this hoody he chose, the green marl jersey knit has a kangaroo pocket and ribbed edging. It’s a great combination of style and comfort as well as having the International Confidence in Textiles label, certified according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100. This guarantees that it contains no substances that are toxic or harmful to the skin, which is really reassuring as Lucas suffers from eczema in Winter.

He also got sent a pair of jeans and a pair of joggers too. The dark denim jeans look like proper big boy jeans and they look really smart. They are a 5 pocket cut and have a zip fly with press stud fastening, meaning Lucas can easily fasten them himself. The waistband is also adjustable which is great for Lucas because he needs the length of his age but the waist for his age is too big so I can make these fit perfectly.

The joggers he received are super soft and comfortable fleece trousers. They are also adjustable at the waist and have a drawstring tie. The are finished off with pockets and turned up hems.

Lucas loves getting a new pair of pjs and glow in the dark pjs are an absolute bonus! They have a fun dinosaur print on the top that glows once it’s dark and plain bottoms to go with them with ribbed edging on the cuffs and hems. These also carry the International Confidence in Textiles label.

I love his new trainers which he got in grey and yellow but also available in navy and green. They are great quality and fasten with 2 touch and close tabs, making them easy to put on for independent dressing. The toe caps are reinforced for shock protection and the rigid back stiffener gives good foot support as well as padding around the ankle.

To finish off his new outfits and perfect for this colder weather, Lucas got a cable knit beanie, snood and gloves set. The set comes with mittens for under 3s and gloves for over 3s. I am made up with the snood as Lucas has been wanting to wear it where as he hasn’t wanted to wear scarves in the past so this is definitely the way forward with him. The whole set keeps him properly wrapped up and protected from the cold wind.

I am really impressed with all the items Lucas received for the quality and the ease of washing. I will definitely be ordering from Vertbaudet again x

  1. Gorgeous outfits! I’m an adult and I’m totally jealous of those glow-in-the-dark pyjamas! Great quality photos as well, keep up the hard work 😀

  2. Lucas’ new coat is gorgeous, I love that it can be worn in a few different ways too. His beanie is really cute, I’d happily wear that myself!
