Jord Wood Watches recently asked if I would like to review one of their women’s watches. I haven’t worn a watch for years as I tend to rely on my phone for the time. However, with Lucas becoming a little obsessed with phones, I now keep it hidden so thought it would be the perfect time to start wearing a watch. I had a look around their website and was really impressed at their designs, they have stunning unique watches for both men and women.
I chose the Frankie 35, £145, which is created with beautiful zebrawood and a navy face. Zebrawood offers a striking grain contrast and exceptional finish against the simple navy face. The face is finished with sapphire glass that is known for transparency and durability. Mechanically, it is second only to diamond as the hardest and most scratch resistant materials on earth. That is pretty impressive and needed when I have a toddler who loves to check it on my wrist constantly.
Jord watches come presented beautifully in their own wood watch box. I was incredibly impressed when I opened the packaging. The box has a little draw with a pen of preserve oil containing coconut oil & amylum (natural cleaner), plant-based glycerin (aids in absorption),
Florida orange oil extract (moisturiser), grain & green plant extracts (natural cleaning agent) and soybean extracts (anti-bacterial power). It also has a cleaning cloth.

I am completely in love with my Jord watch and it has fast become one of my favourite pieces in my jewellery collection. The quality is incredible and it isn’t the same as every other watch you see when passing jewellers x
