It’s been so long since I did some browsing online for myself. When I shop, it’s usually for Lucas and I pick up stuff if I happen to pass it when I’m out and about. I don’t have the time or money to be going out shopping and browsing as I used to in my early twenties.

When Femme Luxe emailed me asking if I’d like to pick some items to review, I took some time whilst Lucas was at school and had a thorough browse. Putting everything else to the side and having a bit of me time.

Until the email, I hadn’t shopped on Femme Luxe before but they have a wide variety of clothes from casuals for around the house to party dresses if you are looking for something special for over Christmas.

I’m standing on a country lane wearing a Femme Luxe stone jumper, black leggings and floral wellies

I had a look through their tops first and picked a Stone Oversized Split Side Knitted Jumper. It’s chunky knit makes it so comfortable and perfect for the winter season. The split up the side gives it a little edge and it’s fab for dressing up if you are meeting friends for lunch and dressing down to go for a family walk. I love it with my Joules floral wellies and black leggings. It keeps me warm whilst I’m out walking but I still feel like I have some style. The split in the jumper does go quite high up up so I put the black underskirt on with it that I got with the shirt dress below.

I’m wearing a Femme Luxe black shirt dress

Going for something a little more out of my comfort zone and more pre Jen before having Lucas, I opted for a Black Mesh Organza Mini Shirt Dress. Featuring an oversized sleeve with a tie waist design, this dress is actually perfect for all seasons. You can easily layer it up, dress it up and down depending on the weather and occasion. The shirt mini dress itself is see through so it comes with a black underdress (I used it under the slit jumper too).

I’m wearing a camel long coat

I’ve always loved waterfall coats when I have seen people wearing them but have never tried one myself. I decided to give it a go and ordered a Camel Waterfall Duster Belted Long Coat. I opted for camel as I think it’s such a timeless colour that goes with pretty much anything. The coat does come in 12 colours though so you can find your perfect look.

I’m wearing the Femme Luxe black loungewear set

As it is nearly winter and we are spending more time relaxing on the sofa watching Christmas films, I thought I’d look for a loungewear set. I chose a Black Short Sleeve Boxy Loungewear Set. The two piece features matching comfy T-shirt and straight leg jogger trousers. Perfect for snuggling up at home or pairing with trainers to nip to the shop.

  1. That dress looks amazing on you, and it’s nice that you picked something a little bit different. Although you can’t beat a good jumper x
