FFX Tools recently offered* to let us review some products from their site. I hadn’t heard of them before so I had a nosy at what they offered and they offer a lot! They have a huge array of tools, hardware, clothing, work protection, camping equipment, garden furniture etc, seriously, I could go on forever.

As we are trying to redecorate the whole house this year and currently looking at doing a garden makeover, D chose some boots to use whilst doing the garden.

DeWalt challenger boots review

He chose DeWalt challenger sympatex boots. They have a lightweight and flexible design which enables them to absorb large amounts of shock along with the steel toe cap which can handle up to 200 joules. They have a full grain nubuck leather upper with a Sympatex waterproof and breathable membrane. The TPU sole is resistant to petrol, chemical’s, oil and temperatures of up to 120°C. The sole is anti-static for increased protection. There is also a steel mid sole for under foot protection and a dual density anti-bacterial insole.

D has worn them whilst doing some gardening and also when we went to Southport for the day to test their comfort whilst working as well as walking a long distance. D really likes them, they offer the protection he needs whilst working and just as importantly, they are comfortable and true to size.

  1. These look great and so comfortable. My partner could do with a pair for work instead of wearing his trainers.

  2. My husband has been in the market for a new pair of work boots. These look great! Comfortable and sturdy

  3. They actually look the part don’t they these boots? As well as being practical …I haven’t heard of the company before so it’s great to learn about other products out there.
