This weeks ordinary moments are something no one could have thought of this time last year. We’ve had our first full week of school closures here in France and all but essential shops (food and pharmacy) are closed. If we go out, we have to fill a form out to show police, should we be stopped to ask why we aren’t at home. We haven’t done as much home schooling as I had hoped but there’s plenty of time for that, the weather has been beautiful and the stress of the situation sometimes just causes for some play and family time. We’ve been making the most of living in a very rural place and being able to walk and play without coming into contact with others. We have been playing boules, tig, scavenger hunting, collecting kindling for the fire, football and generally taking a bit of time out. Lucas understands that we have to stay in and things are closed due to germs spreading but other than that I think it’s important that we stay relaxed and keep as normal as possible for him x
