The summer holidays will soon be here and what a summer it has been so far, the weather has been delightful! Here I am going to run through some great days out up and down the country for families and adults.
Track Days
Track Days offer track and day experiences at over 40 locations within the UK. There really is something for everybody, from driving a Lamborghini around Brands Hatch or chicaning an Audi R8 around Goodwood. Not only do they do Super Car track days they cater for motorcycle lovers, monster trucks, track cars, formula 1, movie cars to name a few of many. Military tanks can be driven, paintballing, combat training and survival courses for those that fancy themselves off a bit of a Bear Grylls.
Water sports such as Jet skiing, white water rafting, scuba diving and numerous others can be sampled. Flying experiences including Hot Air Balloon flights. Aerobatic flights, helicopter flights and ski diving are available for the ultimate thrill seekers. Nearly all the experiences can be provided for corporate events what better way of bringing people together. There is also junior driving for those budding Lewis Hamilton’s. I would really like to go on one of their hot air balloons.
Sea Life Centres
With over 50 aquariums and 6 sanctuaries, it shouldn’t be hard to find one near you. We have been to both the Trafford Centre one and Blackpool. There is so much to explore from the sharks swimming above you, close views of the beautiful creatures of the sea such as turtles, stars fish and seahorses. You can discover the beautiful tropics of Stingray Bay or the humidity of the dense rainforest.
National Trust
Whether you fancy a walk, to explore history, a spot of geocaching, bike ride or learn surfing. The National Trust has 775 miles of coastline, over 248,000 hectares of land, over 500 historic houses, castles, ancient monuments, gardens, parks and nature reserves. They also have close to 1 million objects and works of art.
Free activities
Have a look at one of my old posts here for free activities where you don’t need to spend and remember to check out any family fun days that craft and shopping centres. You can also check out free days out in Lancashire and free days out in London.

I love the sound of Track Days as I’ve been jet skiing and scuba diving before and I’d love to do them again

I do like the idea of getting “days out” as gifts, I have done it actually in the past quite a few times. I would like to get an acrobatic flight experience, I have done that before and it was so full of adrenaline.

We can’t wait for the summer hols, and have loads of things to do on our list so far. I’d totally forgotten about the awesome Sealife Centre’s dotted around though. Maybe we should go when we visit Great Yarmouth 🙂
