Ideas for Celebrating Easter with Family in London

March 26, 2024 by Jenni

Whether a visit to central London requires a cross-country expedition or a mere tube journey, the Easter holidays are the perfect time to explore the UK’s most vibrant and exciting city.

London has plenty to do for everyone, and the opportunities change all year round. So, if you are looking at trains to London for some family excitement, we have gathered some of the best activities to get stuck into this Easter:

The Lindt Gold Bunny Hunt, Hampton Court Palace

This exciting trail lasts 90 minutes and is perfect for kids between 3 and 12 years old. The delicious Lindt Gold Bunnies are dotted around the picturesque grounds of Hampton Court Palace.

You are sure to have lots of fun leading yourselves around the perfect backdrop to uncover tasty treats, as this special Easter egg hunt has a perfectly wholesome vibe.

Bluey, Kew Gardens

Visit London’s most famous botanical gardens this Easter for a Bluey-themed easter egg hunt. There’s an array of different activities to get involved with, and a Bluey costume character will visit the crowd every hour. Your little ones will love seeing this hit TV show come to life right before their eyes.

Zoonormous Egg Hunt, Regent’s Park

If you and your family love animals, why not combine a trip to London Zoo with some thrilling Easter fun?

The conservation zoo offers the opportunity to view over 10,000 animals, and the upcoming event means you can participate in some fun spring crafts too. There is no chance of boredom at the Zoornormous Egg Hunt!

Bear Snores On, Regent’s Park

This is another fantastic experience at Regent’s Park, meaning you could even sandwich the two into one day!

This fabulous open-air theatre is a must-visit whilst in London, so why not treat the kids to a light-hearted and family-friendly performance? The play has a run time of 50 minutes with no intervals, and it is best suited for those aged 4 and above.

Bear Snores On has been adapted from a children’s book, and the theatrical piece also includes music. It is one of the best child-oriented plays to watch right now, so don’t miss it.

Peter Rabbit Easter Adventure, Covent Garden

This delightful Easter experience was a huge success last year, so we highly recommend getting involved this springtime.

The interactive adventure consists of an exciting trail to help save Jemima Puddle-Duck, and it even includes puppetry and other live performances. The theatrical event offers you 50 minutes of wholesome, Easter fun, as you commemorate one of the UK’s most beloved franchises.

Whatever you decide to get up to in London this Easter, we are sure you’ll have a fabulous time celebrating with your nearest and dearest.
