I have already written a post of gift ideas for Father’s Day but when Snapfish offered to let me create a gift with them, I thought it would be a great idea. I actually bought my Dad a mug from Snapfish last year for his birthday with some photos of Lucas on and I know D would love one too.

Snapfish have a fab selection of personalised Father’s Day gifts from photo books to mugs to phone cases, cushions and mouse mats, just to name a few. I’ve recently got a new phone and given D my old phone so I decided to create a new phone case for him.

The iPhone 4 photo phone case costs £11.99. The lightweight, scratch-resistant plastic case has a smooth satin finish for high quality images with cut-outs for volume control and camera. There is a large selection of layouts, embellishments, backgrounds and fonts, so you can unleash your creativity to your hearts content. I knew which photo I wanted to use though and kept it simple with no extra details.

I also created 2 photo coffee mug‘s, £7.99 each. I made one for D and one for my Dad. Microwave and dishwasher safe and a decent size at 11oz. I chose a layout for D, using one photo that I know is his favourite of him and Lucas that had text on the other side of the mug saying ‘BEST DAD EVER’ . For my Dad’s mug, I wanted several photo’s on it so I didn’t use a layout but applied the photo’s and then kept rotating until I liked the position of them.

Creating personalised gifts like these are such a lovely way of capturing memories and really giving the recipient something they will like. If your children are old enough, it is also a great way of them using their imagination and creativity, choosing what stickers, words and layouts they would like x
