The Real Workin’ Buddies Mr. Dusty is a busy, hungry, colourful, interactive fun way for children to learn to clean up their toys! Lucas is a little clean freak when it comes to anything that picks up toys, hoovers etc so this was an instant hit with him. Lucas really enjoyed pushing Dusty around as he ate up all the debris before him. Not only does he eat up, he can also dump it all out too (Lucas has learned to empty Dusty into his toy basket which is a thumbs up from me). Dusty has a motorised mouth which eats up larger toys.
Dusty is a versatile garbage truck, he works on both carpet and hardwood floors. He has over 50 fun phrases that Lucas laughed and smiled at as he zoomed along. He also has flashing lights so he really does look like a real garage truck in action.
Dusty does find it easiest to pick small objects but will pick up larger pieces of duplo too. You simply press the button at the top of Dusty and roll over objects for Dusty to eat the up. You need to keep Dusty moving forward so the objects can be picked up. There is also a down pipe at the side of him where smaller objects can be popped in. When you are ready to empty the truck you switch a button and tip it back.
