Today, I am focussing on a Flannel shirt I chose from the men’s section of the Lands End website.

Lands End Men’s Flagship Flannel Shirt in Evergreen Blackwatch Plaid
I chose the Men’s Flagship Flannel Shirt in Evergreen Blackwatch Plaid. I got size M, which is UK 38-40, but I wish I had gotten the S, which is UK 34-36. I like the bagginess of it, which is why I opted for the size I did. However, I didn’t think of the arm length and would have been better with the smaller one for this reason.

It’s all in the fabric, which starts as ringspun, combed cotton twill, densely woven for substance and durability. The shirt is incredibly soft and comfortable. I am sure it will keep me warm during the winter and the transitional months of Autumn and Spring.
Lands End Women’s Cotton Vest Tops
Lands End has various women’s tops that would look great with a flannel shirt. I have always liked to wear a vest top under a shirt. From the days of being 15 years old, wearing a checked shirt, flared jeans and Dr. Martins, I would always have a vest top underneath. I still do in my late 30s, wearing a shirt with jeans, shorts or a skirt.
I opted for a three-pack of cotton vest tops. They are available as a pack of three black tops, three white tops or a pack containing one white, one black and one grey. I got size UK 10-12, which is US S. I love their fit. They don’t cling to the skin but hang down beautifully, and I can feel the incredible quality of the cotton.
