Gooseberry Pink came from the initial inspiration of ‘belly art’ – a trend where expectant mums use paints or henna tattoos to decorate their pregnant form. Laura, the founder, thought this was an enchanting way for mums to celebrate their growing pregnancy bump. Although, having a painted belly is probably not the most practical thing on a day to day basis! Laura wanted to capture this spirit of celebration and make beautiful belly art something that all mums-to-be could enjoy. The result was Gooseberry Pink..…a fabulous range of maternity tops featuring beautiful designs that ‘hug the bump’.

Laura very kindly sent me one of the deluxe pregnancy gift boxes. There are four designs to choose from, Dreamcatcher, Tree of Life, Dandelion Wishes and Beautiful Balloons. I chose the dandelion wishes design.
The pregnancy gift boxes can be bought as a classic collection which is a design maternity top, baby bodysuit and card. The pure pregnancy gift box contains a design maternity top, plain maternity top and a card. The deluxe gift box contains a design maternity top, plain maternity top, baby bodysuit and a card.
The deluxe dandelion wishes pregnancy gift box includes an organic cotton ‘Designed for Pregnancy’ maternity top, made to fit and flatter from early pregnancy to full term. The top, in black, has been hand printed with a pretty dandelion clock design uniquely placed to ‘hug’ the bump.
To tie the pregnancy and new baby journey together the gift set includes an adorable baby bodysuit made from 100% GOTS certified organic cotton that has been decorated with a coordinating dandelion seed design. The designs are printed using water-based inks so they are non-hazardous, non-toxic, bio-degradable.
There is also an organic plain white maternity top and to finish the box off perfectly, there is a coordinating dandelion design gift card. This is blank for you to write or you can ask Laura to write a gift message if you are sending it straight to the recipient.
I absolutely love the gift set, the tops are incredibly soft, you can tell they are high quality, organic cotton. They fit perfectly with more room for my bump to grow too with elasticated ruching on the side seams. The babygrow is stunning, I love that we can twin when she is such a young age. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase one of these boxes for any pregnant friends, they are such a lovely treat and it’s great that the boxes can be altered to pregnancy only, for those that don’t like to have baby items too soon before the due date.
