Nim’s Fruit and Vegetable Crisps Review

November 28, 2016 by Jenni

PR Sample

We were sent some Nim’s fruit and vegetable crisps to review.

Nim’s fruit and vegetable crisps are a range of air-dried snacks made in Britain. They are made using a unique air-drying process, to ensure they keep as much of their nutritional content, natural sweetness and beautiful bright colours as possible. No additives or preservatives of any kind will be found in Nim’s crisps.

Nim’s use British fruit and vegetables where they can, sourcing only the very best quality fresh produce and using it in its entirety – including keeping the skin, core and pips intact – to create a delightfully guilt-free snack. They are high in fibre and vitamin C, as well as only being 57-75 calories per pack. They are also fat and gluten free.

Nim’s are official partners of Change for Life as well as being the only fruit crisp brand to have each pack licensed by the Department of Health as one of your five a day

Nim's fruit and vegetable crisps review

They come in a variety of fruit combinations – Apple, Pineapple & Kiwi, Orange & Melon, Pineapple, and Pear. The vegetable combinations include – Tomato & Cucumber, Pepper & Courgette and Beetroot & Parsnip.

I really enjoyed all of the flavours. D’s favourite were the Pineapple & Kiwi. My favourite was  the Pear and Lucas loved the Apple. The crisps had a real crunch as you would expect from usual potato crisps and the flavours were incredible. They truly tasted of the fruit and vegetables they were made of. I love vegetables so liked the vegetable flavoured ones as much as the fruit but I can’t say the same for Lucas and D.

Nim’s crisps are perfect for a healthy yet ridiculously tasty snack in the office, for packed lunches or even on the buffet table this Christmas.

I absolutely love these types of snacks! I’ve tried crisps similar to Nim’s and they are to die for. I’d definitely be interested in trying some of these. The beetroot and parsnip ones are making me very hungry just thinking about them!

I love vegetable crisps but they often soak up even more oil than potato chips so I tend to avoid those! Not anymore though! Such a great idea to air pop those!

I’ve seen these but my son wasn’t so keen to try them despite him loving a lot of fruit and veg. I have recently started buying plantain chips as they are delicious.
