I picked up a pack of Mickey Mouse fairy cake mix from Asda. It only cost £1 which I thought was great value as I only needed to add an egg, water and oil. I haven’t had chance to bake properly since Lucas was pre-crawling but I want to start getting him into cooking and baking and thought this would ease us in gently. I have found some cupcake tools from 50p too online to help us get into regular baking.
We only managed to make 9 but apparently there should have been enough mixture for 10. Lucas enjoyed the mixing but wasn’t keen on the actual cakes, D seemed to enjoy them and I thought they were ok at best but I’m not sure if we overcooked them a little.
Oh thia looks loads of fun. I need to get Blake more into baking.
Looks like fun. I really need to do some baking with Monkey #livingarrows
