What are the new designs for the Christmas Jellycat 2023 collection?

The existing family of Jellycat Snowmen also has a new addition, with Teddy, Lenny, and Maddy being joined by Sammie Snowman in a pale blue scarf and bobble hat (22cm high x 13cm wide).
Stylish Joy Reindeer in her fluffy fur scarf and velvet bow also has a new fashionable friend in Sofia Reindeer. Dressed in a luxurious fur coat with long eyelashes and glittery antlers, Sofia sits at 44cm high x 13cm wide and brings a touch of glamour to any Christmas party.
You may have seen many a Merry Mouse design in previous years, but for 2023, Jellycat has introduced a snow sports buddy for the skiing version – Merry Mouse Sleighing! This 18cm high x 11cm wide white mouse rides a cordy brown sleigh, complete with light blue scarf, mittens, and fluffy earmuffs to stay warm on the slopes.
Ronnie Rockhopper has a new crested penguin friend, too, in the form of Maurice Macaroni Penguin (20cm high x 13cm wide). Like Ricky Rain Frog, Maurice is wonderfully round and plump, with a downturned mouth that gives him a sweetly serious expression.
Jellycat Winter Warmers
If you’re a long-time fan of Jellycat dog designs, you’ll be glad to know that a few quintessential canine characters are now available in adorable and cosy Christmas garb.
Winter Warmer Otto Sausage Dog (15cm high x 7cm wide) decks the brown dachshund out in a Santa hat and matching Christmas cape, made of fuzzy red fabric with fluffy white trim.
Meanwhile, Winter Warmer Munro Scottie Dog features the white Scottish terrier dressed in a dapper tam o’shanter cap and matching tartan scarf, sitting at 21cm high x 12cm wide.
Last but not least, Winter Warmer Pippa Black Labrador (22cm high x 8cm wide) adorns the lovely black lab with a large bow at a perky angle around her neck, in a bright red colour to match the Christmas hat atop her head.
Christmas Jellycat favourites
You didn’t think that was all, did you? Jellycat knows which existing characters are beloved the most, which is why they have released a few more Christmassy versions of selected designs.

Though Grizzo may seem like a supernatural scamp, Christmas Grizzo (27cm high x 10cm wide) gets into the seasonal spirit with a cosy cream coat and a knitted red scarf and Christmas hat.

Everyone knows that Bashful Beige Bunny is THE must-have Jellycat, so it’s no surprise that this sought-after design is now available as a Christmas edition.
Bashful Christmas Bunny is available in one size – 31cm high x 12cm wide – and not only features the sweet expression, pink suede nose, and beige fur of the classic lop-eared rabbit teddy, but also wears a red velour hat with white fluffy trim.

Christmas Jellycat Amuseables
Amuseables are one of the most well-known styles sold by Jellycat, cherished around the world for their quirky look – adding a smiley face and dangly legs to everyday items and foods.
The Jellycat Christmas range has seen the return of many an old favourite Amuseable, from the Star and Snowflake to the Candy Cane, Cracker, and Clementine – plus staples like the Mince Pie, Yule Log, Gingerbread House, Christmas Cake, and Brussels Sprout.
However, some designs that you’ve seen before in previous years are now back with a brand new look. Amuseable Holly and Amuseable Mistletoe have added a velvety bow and ribbon in red and gold respectively, while the Amuseable Christmas Tree and Amuseable Christmas Wreath have a smoother segmented style compared to the previous fuzzy finish.
The Amuseable Poinsettia has also returned in a rounded golden pot this time, making the traditional plant design far more festive than before.
Joining the forest of Amuseable Christmas Tree species – along with Blue Spruce and Fraser Fir – is the new Amuseable Nordic Spruce Christmas Tree, which has a simple striped design in alternating shades of green, sitting in a linen-effect brown pot and topped with a smiling star.
