Adorable Halloween outfits for your little one

Halloween is a beloved celebration for adults and kids of all ages, as it is the one night a year that you can dress however you want without anyone caring about it. While the older children spend the celebration going trick or treating and sharing candies with their friends, the babies under a year are obviously far less interested in the holiday. However, it doesn’t mean they can’t dress in cute costumes for a family event or a fun photo shoot. This article will give you a few adorable outfit ideas for your little one for Halloween.

Frozen

Frozen is one of the most popular animated movies of the last few years, adored by kids and their parents worldwide. So, it’s no surprise that many parents decide to dress their babies up as Anna or Elsa for Halloween. You can even make the costume at home using clothes you most likely already have. Start with a long blue or purple dress paired with white leggings and winter boots, and then add on some shimmery snowflake accessories such as arm cuffs. If you don’t want to use a wig on the baby, you can complete the look with a headband or a hat of a similar colour.

Leprechaun

Leprechauns are mythological creatures from Irish folklore, and although they are often depicted as mischievous, Leprechaun baby costumes look absolutely endearing. You can start the outfit with a green Irish baby onesie; if you don’t have a onesie in such a colour, you can get an Irish baby onesie from this online store as it is great not only for a Halloween costume but also for everyday wear due to the high-quality organic cotton that it is made of. Then, accessorize the look with a green hat with a black band or a buckle, but in case you can’t find a hat small enough, you can easily make one yourself using felt or other soft fabrics to top off the look.

Pumpkin

For an adorable Halloween costume that 100% matches the theme of the holiday, dress your baby up as a pumpkin! You can make your costume or even carve a real pumpkin bit enough to fit your little one in many ways. Start with an orange onesie and a green hat that would mimic the stem of the pumpkin. Decorate the onesie with brown lines resembling the pumpkin, then decorate the costume with smaller elements, such as a leafy collar made of felt, to make it more interesting and fun.

Vampire

If you want to create a scary yet cute Halloween look for your child, a vampire costume is exactly what you need! For the basics, start with an all-black ensemble such as a dress or a jumpsuit that you can layer with other clothing items such as tights and a white long-sleeved shirt. Then, add a black or red cape and a vest in a similar shade to create a more mysterious look. Finally, if you want, you can complement the outfit with a bow and paint some fangs on the baby’s face using hypoallergenic paint.
