What’s your favourite Christmas movie?
Without a doubt it has to be Miracle On 34th Street
Have you ever had a white Christmas?
I can remember 2 I think, definitely had 1
Where do you usually spend your holiday?
We spend it with my parents and grandparents for Christmas lunch then usually my Dads side of the family for the evening but since having Lucas that depends where it is for travelling, his routine etc. For Boxing Day evening we spend it with my Mums side of the family. My parents are both 1 of 4 children so we have a big family.
What is your favourite Christmas song?
I really don’t know but Bing reminds me of Christmas. My brother and I used to put The Bing Crosby Christmas Album every year to decorate.
Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?
Yes, since our first Christmas together, D and I have done our presents on Christmas Eve. We are carrying this on and having Christmas morning for Lucas’ presents.
Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?
Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen and Rudolph! (I couldn’t but copied them from Emma!)
Which holiday traditions are you looking forward to this year?
I love watching Lucas at family do’s, he is in his element and it’s lovely to watch him develop relationships with my younger cousins.
Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
Fake
What is your all time favourite holiday treat/food/sweet?
Christmas dinner, I have tonsillitis at the moment and I’m really hoping it is gone in time for me to eat.
Be honest, do you like giving or receiving gifts better?
Never going to not like receiving gifts but I do love giving gifts, especially seeing Lucas’ face. We’ve bought him a few things for Christmas and already given him a kitchen but I can’t wait until he sees a tea set we bought him on sale in Argos. Cost us £3 and I know it’s going to be his favourite present.
What is the best Christmas present you ever received?
I don’t know, I love everything I get for different reasons. My Manchester United mug comes into my head so I will say that. D got it me as a stocking filler for our second Christmas (I think) I’m not into football but I’ve become attached to that cup
What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?
I think I would quite like to spend it somewhere hot, spending the day on the beach one Christmas sounds nice
Are you a pro present wrapper or do you fail miserably?
Neither, I make it look neat the majority of the time but definitely not a pro present wrappet
Most memorable Christmas moment?
I’m not sure, all my Christmas memories are surrounded by family which I love, although I do like time for just the 3 of us now as well
What made you realise the truth about Santa?
I actually have no idea
What makes the holidays special for you?
Spending time with family, D getting to spend quality time with Lucas
