Getting ready to travel with Trunki ride-on suitcase

Travel with Trunki. The red and black spotted Trunki is on grass with the stickers, lunch bag and blue tidy bag next to it

Last week, we spent a lovely week in Bluestone in Wales, and we are planning on going to France once our house sale is completed, so it’s a great time for Lucas to have been sent a Trunki for his travels.

Travel with Trunki the Trunki is opened up showing the inside with the lunch bag and tidy bag in each side

I think everyone has heard of Trunki now, known for their innovative ride-on suitcase and is considered one of the best ride-on suitcases for toddlers. They are designed to make travelling fun for children! They have an abundance of designs featuring every colour, animal, creature, and theme that your little one can possibly think of. But if they want to get creative, they can even customise one to their imagination’s content!

I showed Lucas the website and asked him which one he would like, he commented how cool the Paddington Bear one was and that he liked the Gruffalo design as they read that at nursery. In the end, he opted for the red ladybird, which I knew he would do. When I asked him which carry potty design he wanted a couple of years ago, he went for the ladybird and again when I asked him to choose an ID bracelet last year.

Based on the classic Trunki design with a bright red body and bold black spots, Lucas is very happy with Harley, the ladybird. He has 18-litre capacity storage and a comfy saddle seat. These kids suitcases are made from the same lightweight yet durable plastic as adult suitcases and are tested to the extremes to make sure they can take all the wear and tear an excited 4-year-old can throw at it. Trunki are so confident of the quality that they offer a free 5-year guarantee with every Trunki purchase too! Lucas has really enjoyed riding on it and pulling it along with the detachable tow strap. It’s great for keeping everything in that he will need when we are at the airport and for on the plane as it’s the correct size to go on as hand luggage.

We were also sent a Tidy bag, lunch bag and stickers, which would come with the Harley Trunki if bought within the animal bundle. Lucas chose the blue tidy bag, a matching Harley lunch bag and a set of stickers.

Travel with Trunki

I think the tidy bag is a genius idea. The bag keeps toys tidy and close to hand, ideal for travel and also fits neatly inside one side of the Trunki suitcase. It can also be turned into a shoulder bag by using the Trunki Tow Strap. The bag is lightweight and flexible, so fab for fitting everything in of different shapes and sizes.

The lunch bag converts to a shoulder bag or backpack with an easy-to-clean, seamless liner. It is fully insulated and moisture resistant, with an inner mesh pocket suitable for an ice pack or additional food.

The stickers allow the little ones to get creative and give their Trunki extra personality with friendly, funny faces! Individually, all the items would cost £66.96, but when you purchase as a bundle, it costs £44.99!

Trunki has very kindly offered to give away a Trunki in the design of the winner’s choice (subject to availability). If you would like the chance to win, enter below x
