Apramo Eros car seat review

When Apramo approached me to see if I wanted to review* one of their car seats, I jumped at the chance as I loved the look of how sturdy they are and Lucas had been asking for a red seat next time!

The Apramo Eros comes in three colourways, black, grey and red. Obviously, I requested the red so Lucas was immediately delighted when he saw it and I love the colour too. It’s a gorgeous red and burgundy, perfect for a growing child as there are no gimmicky characters on it and this seat is the only seat we need now. The Eros covers group 1/2/3 from approximately 9 months to 12 years (9-36 kg).

The Eros is isofix compatible with the rigidifix on the bottom of the seat and a top tether too. This really reassured me that Lucas’ seat is correctly fitted and as safe as possible. The fittings show a green sign when the seat is correctly in position. If you don’t have an isofix compatible car, you an also use the seatbelt to safely fit the seat too.

The first thing I noticed when I took the seat out of the box is the sturdiness of it, I am really impressed with it. There is superior side impact protection by EPS in the head support and the seat shell. It is incredibly plush too on the inside, making Lucas very comfortable. The head rest is also adjustable in 11 positions along with the shoulder straps, making it perfect for a growing child.

There is a 5 point harness for children between 9-18kg with a one-pull adjustment which I love as I’m not one for faffing around, I want to know Lucas is in safely and securely as simply as possible.

The cover is fully removable to wash which is always a bonus and you can also recline the seat in 4 positions if your little one still naps and you want a more laid back sleepy position.

I absolutely love this seat and can not recommend it highly enough. When Lucas is ready for moving up a stage, we just need to alter the seat slightly and use the regular car seat belt rather than the 5 point harness. If you fancy having a look, they are available from various retailers including Halfords x

This looks like a great seat. Eliza has one that she started using as a baby and she still uses now age 7 – it is a great money saver
