Once again, I have been useless remembering to write something each night.
The main things that have made me happy this week is Lucas’ new words, he now says ‘whiry woo’ for Twirlywoos, ‘Pa Pa’ for Postman Pat and ‘Tee Tee’ for Tellytubbies. Each night, he gets into bed and says whiry woo asking for his Twirlywoos magazine to flick through before he settles down.
A couple of weeks ago it was my Mums birthday, Lucas and I took her shopping and had lunch at The Cafe Bar in Preston, it’s a Mediterranean restaurant. I hadn’t heard of it before but my Dad recommended it and I’m so glad he did. The place itself is tucked away from the main high street of the centre and you feel as though you are in the Mediterranean as you walk up to it with their beautiful plants and cobbled entrance. The food was delicious, I had chicken souvlaki. The staff were so friendly, Lucas was best mates with one of the waiters by the time we left, even going into the kitchen with him to high five all the staff before leaving.
OK, so I’m going to try once again to be more mindful and write something each night….
Saturday I went to my friends house today, it was her birthday a couple of weeks ago and it’s my other friends birthday on the 10th Dec so today was our get together for their birthdays. As all 3 of us aren’t rolling in cash, we decided to keep it low key. I made us some sandwiches and we picked up a selection of cream cakes from Morrisons on the way as well as some soup and we had afternoon tea together. It was lovely to catch up and it’s the first time we have seen her new house.
Sunday We took Lucas trampolining for the first time. We went to Tramp2Lean which is a huge room full of trampolines, I absolutely loved it. Lucas was more interested in everybody else than being with us but it was fun, I think I’m going to start taking Lucas to the toddler class.
Monday We visited my Grandma for her 86th birthday
Tuesday My parents visited, my Dad works 7 days a week so we rarely see him unless Lucas and I have one of our 7am visits before he leaves for work
Wednesday I treated us to some chocolate dohnuts, a delicious treat with a cup of coffee when Lucas went to bed
I’m seriously rubbish, it’s now Saturday and I’ve forgotten what I did Thursday and Friday x
