Lucas was very lucky a couple of weeks ago when a parcel was sent* to him from Toy Star containing not one, but two ride on cars! He received a Range Rover and a Mercedes, both in red, his favourite colour.

The Mercedes is a scaled down replica of the Mercedes-Benz AMG SLS supercar, it’s packed with authentic details including a turning steering wheel and moving wheels to control the front wheels and race around corners. There is also a genuine bumper badge. These cars are great for encouraging Lucas to use his imagination and developing role play, for instance Lucas will drive to the ‘shop’ and then when Lucas is shopping, he pops the food under the seat in the storage compartment and be wary if you get in his way, because he’s very happy to use the horn!

Lucas’ favourite of the two cars, is the Range Rover. I think he prefers a bigger style car, it is a scaled down replica of the Range Rover Evoque SUV, it’s packed with authentic details including a moving gear stick, turning steering wheel, folding mirrors and bumper badge. Lucas loves folding the mirrors in when he parks up

Both cars are available in red or white and need to be assembled when they arrive but the instructions are clear and I found it easy enough to put together. Lucas enjoyed helping make the cars too, eager to get his screwdriver out. They both need 2 AA batteries which don’t come included so if you are getting this as a Christmas gift, remember a pack of batteries too.

Lucas and I are both really impressed with the cars and if you fancy winning either a ride on Mercedes or Range Rover for your little one, enter below x
