Since finding out I was pregnant, I have been meaning to go on a baby first aid course. With one thing or another I have never got round to it but St. John Ambulance have some great free resources on their website showing various first aid methods for different ailments as well as for different age groups.

You can also send off for a free pocket sized first aid guide and a free pocket baby first aid guide which are perfect for keeping in your changing bag whilst out or download a free mobile first aid app.

Every year, more than 400,000 people learn how to save a life through St. John Ambulance training programmes.

Their volunteers provide first aid in their communities, keeping people safe at events, and working alongside the NHS in response to 999 calls.

If you would like to donate text AID to 70030 to make a single £5 donation x

  1. Luckily my wife and I have both been first aid trained due to past job choices. You have highlighted issues which some parents have never thought of.

    Thanks for Sharing

  2. I have done a basic first aid course but would love to do a more in depth first aid course for children and adults

  3. This is such a good idea. I had constant anxiety dreams about all of my kids when they were babies, imagining all the terrible things that might have happened. I should have thought to do something like this.
