A couple of days ago, I took the leap to become an Usborne books ambassador and I can’t tell you how excited I am about it.
Usborne is the UK’s leading specialist children’s book publisher: an independent, family business which creates engaging, innovative, accessible books for children of all ages. Being an Usborne organiser is a great way for mums to work from home.
They also have puzzle books, key skills learning books, card games and jigsaws.
Usborne books are available around the world, both in English and in over 130 different languages. They publish Usborne books under their own name in French, German, Italian, Korean, Dutch, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Catalan and Chinese. For other languages, they license their books to local publishers who translate and publish them under their name.
It costs just £48 to join with no additional subscriptions or renewal fees required. For this fee, I received a pack of books worth nearly £200 to get me started with either selling these as stock or using them for examples to show in Mum’s groups or local markets etc. When I sell any books, I earn 24% commission so I am hoping it will be a nice way to earn some extra money from home without any targets to hit.
I love reading and I really want to encourage Lucas to read. To show him that there is something special about relaxing in a reading corner and escaping into a story. Developing a passion for reading early can help to steer children away from the mental health challenges of excessive social media consumption toward a happier, more fulfilled childhood. Reading can have a direct impact on a child’s ability to learn effectively, study optimally and pass exams.
To celebrate, I thought I would run a giveaway…
