Its that time of year again where companies go all out on their TV advertising campaigns – John Lewis with presents on the moon, the big day is almost ruined in Sainsburys advertisement and the familiar Toys R Us advertisement is playing in the background. Its four weeks away until Christmas and as I’m sure many men out there can agree with me, the last place you want to be stuck is searching high and low in department stores and shopping centres for presents to add to your Christmas wish list.
I still have my Christmas wish list this year but its in digital format and is shared with my family members to make shopping for me easier than ever. Although I’ve included some items from that list within this post, I have included some items I would like to try out before I add them.
Ollie

I remember when I was a kid rushing down the stairs to open a remote control car which could flip over when you crashed it into a wall. Last Christmas, I received a remote control helicopter which I’ve flown around my house and outside. Now, Ollie is on the shelves and seems to be a big hit for either teenage boys or men who still seem to have their childish personality intact.
Ollie is a small remote control car which can perform tricks and whizz across the room. Powered using an app on your smartphone, you can have some great fun with this little remote control car, although when I picked one up in my local Fenwick I thought it was a stocking filler and was rather alarmed to see a price tag of around £80 attached.
Starbucks Hot Chocolate Gift Set

I tend not to visit Starbucks on a regular occasion, although I did have a sneaky Toffee Nut Latté which I shared on Instagram, as I often head for Pret which I’m a massive fan of. However, I found this Starbucks Hot Chocolate gift set in Boots and I just have to have it. It contains 2 Starbucks branded mugs, hot chocolate powder and mini marshmallows. Perfect for a cold Christmas Day evening watching Elf on TV after a day of eating festive food and opening gifts.
Dior Sauvage

If you haven’t seen Johnny Depp making a splash on your TV screen on the climb up to Christmas, you’ve been hiding under a rock. Depp rocks out in his city studio before leaving the city and heading for the desert. This is one of the Eau de Toilettes I have on my list, the other being Valentino’s Uomo which is in a similar price range.
Huawei Watch
Selfridges, £329
The Huawei smartwatch has always appealed to me since it was launched. Although I’m not a fan of Google smartwatches, Huawei has designed this in such a way it doesn’t look like your average smartwatch. It certainly appeals to me more than the Apple Watch, which I sold a few months ago.
Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Black

I’ve never had a professional toothbrush as I normally opt for the Colgate £10 toothbrushes. However, I have been meaning to look into a professional toothbrush I want to take really good care of my teeth. I do already but want to improve the quality since after all, you only get one pair of them when you’re an adult.
Clarks Desert Vulc

I love Clarks shoes and I truly believe that as a man, you can’t have enough of their boots. I currently have a pair of their Desert Boots, priced in the summer at £40 in the sale. If the man in your life is looking for new boots or shoes, I certainly recommend looking at a few styles in Clarks, even if the style I recommend above doesn’t fit your criteria.
Hats are a great gift, one of the most popular style worn is the newsboy cap since these hats are typically made of wool, they double up as a stylish and functional gift.
