The Life Tree is an enchanting piece of artwork which follows life’s journey from birth to old age and beyond. We have been incredibly lucky to have been sent* one and I really can not express just how special it is and how magnificent it looks on the wall.

The picture features charming, animal characters each of which depict a different stage in life, from the arrival of Baby Fox at the bottom of the tree, to Mr Mouse climbing the final staircase at the very top of the tree. The Life Tree is created for children but it resonates on so many different levels that adults will enjoy it equally as much.

The Life Tree artwork review

It is a truly bespoke piece of illustrative artwork for children that will inspire their imagination. You can choose to personalise it with a special name or message and these are hidden throughout the painting, making it not only unique but lots of fun for the child to seek out.

Each picture comes complete with a beautiful soft-back book of charming and amusing Verses of Wisdom which, like the painting, resonate on several levels ensuring adults will find them as thought-provoking as their children find them entertaining!.  The picture is also available as a free to download app  (apple only but they are working on android).  Through the app children can interact with different scenes in the picture and the verse of wisdom relating to that scene is narrated to them.

The Life Tree art review

The Life Tree is the most perfect gift for a new baby, a Christening or a birthday present for an older child. Lucas loves it and it is really nice to be able to talk about the animals and I look forward to making up stories about it ourselves when he is talking more.

I really don’t think it needs to left to the children either, it is such a beautiful piece of art, I think it would be an incredible gift for any age or a purchase for yourself as a feature piece in your home.

The Life Tree also donate £5 from every sale to both The Joshua Tree and The Aspinall Foundation.
The Joshua Tree supports families across the North West living with the life-changing experience of childhood cancer. They offer support to the whole family – patient, parents, siblings, and grandparents with 1 to 1 support, practical and therapeutic help to ensure that life remains as normal as possible during an incredibly traumatic time.
The Aspinall Foundation is an internationally renowned animal conservation charity who are world leaders in the breeding and protection of endangered animals. Their mission is to halt the extinction of rare and endangered species in the wild.
