This is an advertorial post in collaboration with Cow & Gate Growing Up Milk

Cow & Gate have recently launched a campaign called ‘Extraordinary Moments’ which focusses on turning everyday moments and situations in to extraordinary moments. They have created activity inspiration to help parents have various adventures with their toddlers. To take this one step further, they have created online story books whereby parents can upload a photo of their little one enjoying the activity, so they can relive the adventure together at bed time by reading the story book.

Turn everyday situations into Extraordinary moments

There are five stories that you can take part in. The Magic Castle, Mission to the Moon, The Secret Den, First Sell Out Gig and Voyage on the Seven Seas.

Turn everyday situations into extraordinary moments

I decided to have a mission to the moon with Lucas, I was going to prepare some moon rocks (tin foil) and don our hats (colanders) and have a play indoors, then I realised why would we do that when we are lucky enough to have our own deserted moon not far from where we live?! We wrapped up warm, it is surprisingly cold on the moon after all, we put on our waterproofs just in case and went to explore. When we returned from our adventure we uploaded a picture on to the Cow & Gate Growing Up Milk website and created the storybook which I later read to Lucas at bedtime.

Visit the extraordinary moments page to make a story with your little one. It’s really easy to use, you simply choose your story, you pop in a picture (landscape works best) and a few hours later the finished result is emailed to you to enjoy with the little adventurer x
